Pop-Up theatre came about in June 2016 as a way forward for actor David King after suffering a brain haemorrhage and the discovery of a congenital AVM in October 2014. You can read about that on the Huffington Post website.

In 2016, David worked on two productions Acting Exercise by Peter Barnes for The Camden Fringe 2016 and Sweeties an evening of monologues and shorts from 17 actors.

Pop-Up Theatre supports The Neuroscience Research Foundation and raised raised £135 in 2016 and £177 in 2017

For 2018 Pop-Up Theatre will bring more productions and more Sweeties as David builds on the successes of 2016 and 2017. Sweeties on the 13 June 2018 raised an amazing £162. The next production will be in the Autumn 2018.
